I've been offered a set of 18" multispoke alloys that came off a Citroen Xsara apparently they're 5 stud. What's the safest and cheapest way to convert to fit them onto a C4 coupe ? |

Xsara is 4 stud. Same 4 x 108 as the C4 is. Just has a different offset I believe. Putting 5 stud wheels on. You can get 4 stud to 5 stud spacer conversions. But then you are back on the offset issue it could knock it out way too much so the wheel will foul on the arches etc. |

As Tom says, Xsara wheels are four stud. Here's a sample. |

I know that the original xsara wheels would fit the c4 but like neilos mentioned they are after market alloys hence why i wrote "apparently they are 5 stud" but now the guy isn't 100% sure if they are 5 or 4 stud as he hasn't checked them so hopefully they are a 4 stud fitment and haven't came off a xsara that had spacers or a hub conversion. |

if he doesnt know if they are 4 or 5 stud, then i would imagine they may not fit Citroen's either.

Ham wrote ... if he doesnt know if they are 4 or 5 stud, then i would imagine they may not fit Citroen's either. The guy's a close friend, the wheels were off his xsara. He did say they were 5 stud at the weekend when i spoke to him but when i asked today he did say they could possibly be 4 stud he's not 100% sure as he's not had the xsara for over 5 years now and the wheels have sat in a garage since, i should find out in the next couple of days though. If they are 5 stud i'll just leave them as it's probably going to be too much hassle to change them over taking everything else into consideration. |

Well as we have said already they should fit fine, if anything the offset will actually help on the C4 as it will push them out slightly so fill the arches a little more.

I have run some 17" alloys with an offset of et16 with a set of 25mm spacers on my c4 giving an offset of et-9 and I had no problems with catching. They did fill the arch though!!
