Hi guys. My heater fan has stopped working on my Citroen C4 hdi 2014. Past week been working on and off and now completely not working. Removed the glove compartment ment can't see any problems with the wire. Can anyone help. Also I notice when removing the glove box. The AC pipes running through was very hot. Is that normal? Only just brought the car in Jan

Is this the old C4 GP?
With the blower fan under the glove compartment?
I find it have a plug on the end of the motor housing, i sprayer it like crazy with WD-40 and some spray with more lube, and it came back to life. It's been like that for months now.

If it's like the old it is just four plastic fasteners that can be removed, then you can see the blower motor, which is with the end bearing downwards, then moisture runs down in the bearing and it binds, i had this experience after our 4th child, we was going home from hospital without heat, in February Denmark, in the rain with windows down! Blyat. It has been a bit noisy week before, i removed a small plug on the motor, sprayed WD-40 and other lubes up in the bearing, while the fan was on max, then it began running and kept pouring WD-40 up there until it came out clean ish, used a lube after this in a spray, not to thick ( WD-40 should never be used to lube anything!) It have not made a noise since.
Think the other issue can be the resistor that get corroded. But the WD-40 trick cost near to nothing and don't hurt anything so worth a try first.

You must have moved some connector when in there, re-check everything you touched

Have you tried to measure the voltage on the battery? There is a circuit that makes it go into economy mode when voltage go low or after 30 min.
Could be the battery. I can't see you taking out the connector for the blower will cause a no start issue.
Maybe you should try a BSI reset?
Taking of the battery, try searching BSI reset.
there is a certain way it should be done.

From my oppinion, cars today should not be jump startet, i would fear some problems.

Both motors? The b58 Grand Picasso from 2009-2013 only have one blower motor!?
Do you mean the blower in front of the radiator and aircon radiator??

If fuses are ok, and it shows power, light and display on the heating/ac control panel??

If it does i think it need a code reader maybe?
There should be a resistor with the blower inside the housing that can become bad and the blower don't work. Try use ex autodoc or some website that show how it look. The one from 09-13 have like some aluminum housing that can corrode and maybe this moisture get inside and burn it out.
