Hi, folks. I have a question about EGS reservoir. it's looks basicaly oily, and the oil is spreading down to the engine shield. it seems that actuator oil is leaking from a small hole of the reservoir cap, maybe working as a pressure release valve. mine has 57812 miles on clock, EGS always works perfect ! but I am wondering here, why doesn't the actuator oil level change at all in spite of oil leak ? it has never been topped up before since I bought my car. how about your EGS ? thank you in advance. |

thanks David. Engine oil level doesn't chage at all, too. and mine has never been pointed out engine oil leak in MOT. I have done every engine-oil-change by myself during all my ownership, never spotted any oil bleeding. |
