Hello.

My 2007 C4 1.6 Hdi with automatic transmission suddenly can't start, but will instead display the error "anti theft fault "(and sometimes 5 beeps). When the key is turned, the starter runs but the engine gets no fuel.
I thought the key was broken, but neither of the two keys works, which makes me think the fault is somewhere else. After a short time, the car switches to " economy mode", which is probably due to many attempts starting which drains the battery. But this can be remedied by disconnecting the battery.

What can I do now?
