Hi,

The BSI in the 2008 C4 semi auto 1.6 HDI has developed a temperature related failure

I am trying to get a replacement BSI/ECU set but really struggling to get a matching set that matches what's on the car.

Does anyone know whether a 2007 based BSI with BSI04EV H01 is likely to work instead of its current BSI04EV K01 unit?, the ECU numbers match so that would be good start.

Is there any documentation specifying what version of BSI supports what features as i haven't be able to find any yet?

On a similar vain, has anyone successfully swapped the EEPROM from a faulty BSI to a working BSI and fixed it that way?
