Hi all, Whilst fixing my air con diverter flaps today I found a little coiled spring dropped being the glove box. I think it is the one which comes from behind the dash drawer as it appears to fit perfectly, but, I have no idea how to get it to work the drawer and stay in place.

I've read a few threads about this and all say it should be obvious how it attaches, but I can't get it right. Please help.

This drawer has never opened in the 14 months I've owned the car, and is the last little niggle I have, so would be great to fix it.

To try and explain...

The spring spindle sits in the cut out recess on the drawer. The tongue on the spring then clips into a slot in the 'drawer housing' contained in the dash.

This is all from memory about 6years ago so might not be quite right!

As the drawer pulls out it unwinds the spring

Rich you are an absolute star, made perfect sense. All repaired and fitted back in the car.

Sometimes the thanks button is just not enough.
