My 2007 c4 wouldnt release the handbrake so I eventually found the little winder and did it manually. I can't figure out the problem though. Theres a few dash lights on (abs, handbrake failure, service due etc...) I have removed the passenger seat to have a look at the handbrake motor thinking there may be a loose wire but dont see anything there. If i try to activate the handbrake there is no noise from the motor. Any thoughts please?
