Question
Find out if a full sized alloy fits in the rear spare wheel well on a C4 or DS4
Answer
The following applies to the original C4 Coupe and Hatch (scroll down for a link to the New C4 & DS4)
The 17" alloy sits better in the wheel well that the factory supplied steel wheel and is easier to get in and out due to it's slightly smaller overall diameter - carpet sits flush, the boot divider slides in and out fine and there is room beside the wheel for spare dash wipes etc. etc.

And barrie's car:

Citroen could have supplied a full sized alloy spare and tyre but looks like they decided to save on the cost
Pity as the provided spare is ony rated to 50mph which if your on a long journey and nowhere near a puncture repair centre will slow you down considerably
If you can get a full sized alloy spare then go for it!
New C4 and DS4
A full size spare wheel should fit in the wheel well, however for cars with an Electric Parking Brake you will have to put the wheel in with the outside facing up, which leaves no space for the tool carrier.
