Hi there,my trusty C4 Coupe has developed an issue over the last few weeks. It’s hard to start when cold but will eventually start after 3 of 4 goes of the key. Runs fine then until I rev it and then stalls or revs go low then recovers back to normal. Weirdy no lights or codes on Diagbox. Can hear the fuel pump.I’ve changed the fuel pump, camshaft sensor, coil pack and spark plugs but no different. Have the noticed the engine does shake a bit sometimes. No mayonnaise under the oil cap but small about of white smoke when revving. Have checked and changed the engine fuse box BSM but no different. She’s a 1.4 16v petrol. Any help or suggestions would be massively appreciated.

Hi everyone,Sorry if this topic has been covered before. My Magneti Marelli RT4 (GSM version) unit is stuck on a "upgrade CD request" after a faulty upgdade attempt, and I’m trying to find the 8.31 recovery/update CD.The system in my Citroën C4 won’t start properly anymore, and from what I understand, the 8.31 recovery disc (not the upgrade disc) should allow me to repair the filesystem and get it running again. I’m only looking for the ISO of the Recovery CD, not a repair service. If anyone has:an original disca working burned copyor a trusted ISO download(I've seen a link in a previous post but it doesn't exist anymore)…I would really appreciate it. I’m happy to cover shipping costs in case of physical CD of course. Thanks a lot!

Hi, My car has now done 118000miles and by and large I heve serviced it myself since 20000 miles. I have an orange SERVICE light and I dont really know why but I think I am beginning to realise I have missed something.Firstly I have never heard of EOLYS but, having searched this site I have found out a little more. Which fluid should I be using? Is there a maintenance guide for carrying out the refil? Is there a filter that needs replacing?I get an error code P242F Particulate Filter WornAny help much appreciatedThanks

After all these trouble-free years of driving my C4GP 2014 the UREA tank once again is causing issues. I had my tank changed under warranty back in 2017 and since then no problems.THREE weeks ago on a very cold weekend morning (0-1C) the UREA light came on when I accelerated from traffic. Next day I topped up the tank to the max - it was only back in NOV 2025 that I topped up the tank with Adblue just before service and MOT (passed without problems) so I knew something wasn't right. Previous years I only needed to top up once.I scanned the ECU but no fault codes at all. So for the next couple of weeks I've been trying to get the tank the register the top up by driving on motorways. Since the light came on I have driven 230ish miles and still no luck. Now the dreaded contdown warns that I have 1200 miles left until no-start.I suspect it could be a (partially) blocked injector and not the pump otherwise there would be fault codes. What could this be? Bring car to dealers for diagnosis or just get the injector cleaned by some "DPF specialist"?

Hi all!I’ve got a bit of a long winded one here…When I lock the car using any method everything locks. When I unlock the car all the doors unlock apart from the drivers door. The only way I can get the drivers door to unlock is by pressing the lock button on the key fob twice, this however locks the car but doesn’t lock the drivers door. So you can open the drivers door and it will set the alarm off. I’m not sure where to even start with this one, any advice would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi,I hope I am in the correct place for this question.I am in the process of installing an Android Head Unit to my 2013 Citroen C4.Is there anyway that I can connect the original Bluetooth Mic to the new head unit? I do not want to use the 3.5mm mic that came with the head unit.I'm presuming the head unit comes with a Bluetooth Mic as well, as I am able to make/receive phonecalls, but the person on the pbone to me says it sounds like I am under water.Any help/guidance would be appreciated.

Good morning all,I’m a new Citroen owner and new to the forum.I have just purchased a 2022 C4 Spacetourer, but the central locking isn’t working. When using the key fob, the lights flash and the mirrors fold in, but theres no attempt for the doors to lock - same with unlocking. When pushing the interior locking button, I can hear what sounds like a relay clicking within the fuse board in the glove box, but theres doors don’t lock/unlock. When using the key in the passenger door to lock, that single door will lock, but theres doors other remain open. Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks,Scott

NZ car is effectively the British model I believe and I bought it new in 2014.It's just turned 195,000Km on its clock this week. (~121,000miles)I stopped getting the dealer services when it was 4 years old and warranty expired.Local garage does oil changes, fuel filter, MOT (WoF in NZ) etcCitroen dealers here charge twice as much, or more, as you'd pay in the UK for everything.A hard lesson I learned when I moved here from Scotland more than a decade ago. Most NZ folks buy Japanese/Korean cars.I know it's due a timing belt change but I'm wondering if I just skip it and let it die of natural causes or if it's worth paying more than what the cars is probably worth 2nd hand to get its full service including belts etc. What's the reliability of these 2014 C4 GPs even having done the recommended service parts at this age?I'm trying to decide if the investment is worth it or not.I had it in an Auckland Citroen specialist last year for the AdBlue tank (again!) and was told a few horror stories of stuff that typically goes wrong with them (they dont sell new cars, just service so it wasn't a sales scare 'em ploy). It's been a great car for the 12 years I've had it, perfect for my families needs. (AdBlue tank won't bother me any more )
