Can anyone tell me which front brake pads I will need for my 2006 VTS Coupe 2.0 HDi? My local dealer (Luffield Cars Loughborough) said there are more than one type but couldn't tell me which I need.

Don't believe them, from the Vin or registration number they should be able to tell you

PM me the vin and I'll see if I can look it up

They look them up from your car's VIN number. The last 8 digits is enough.

Raising an old thread here but I have a problem ordered front and rear Mintex brake pads, BUT the fronts are wrong.

Is it possible for someone to point me in the right direction as my number plate search on the Mintex site says I have the correct part (MDB2186)
She is an 2010 C4 Hatchback 1.6 VTi 120
Many thanks

The VIN is only the reliable means of identifying the correct part. Number plates can be changed.
