Griff, I've only changed coolant on a 1.6HDi. I had moderate sucess by unplugging the two micro hoses that go back to the reservoir, filling reservoir to the top, bleeding at the heater bleed screw, letting air and fluid come out of the tow open micro hose ends with the engine running. One micro hose comes from the thermostat block, the other from the top of the radiator (on a 1.6HDi at least) I made up some rubber plugs to block the fittings on the reservor. Regards G |
