I've noticed over the last few months that my C4 VTS HDi 2.0

When the car is cold the clutch is very heavy and difficult to get into reverse and crunchies when changing in second the car is fine when its up to temp and its only covered 20k /
Does anyone now what this could this be before I take it back to Citroen

My cars like this too mate, same model, I've just put it down to the nature of the car, bearing in mind that engines and gearboxes are designed to work when hot not when cold.

May be related may be not previous to my C4GP i had an Xsara Picaso 2.0Hdi and an Xsara saloon prior to that both of the suffered this problem and both were sloved by changing the clutch cable the Nylon casing on the inner cable wears and sticks was what i was told by the garage
