 Hi to all,

here a proud car owner, haven't had issues with the car on 245000 km until a few months ago, first my front blower stopped working, resolved by fan and resistor change, but in the last month first my right rear started working worse than before until it stopped 2 weeks later and 2 days ago my left side stopped.

Checked fuses (engine, cabin), replaced a 35A cartier (had it near) as a faulty one could prevent getting electricity in the back as there is no sign of life/light on back pillars and knobs do nothing.

I've read that the blowers are under front seats but before venturing to opening everything I am interested if someone already have had and resolved a similar issue.

My first guess was fuse, second resistors as it was never changed (19 years).

Any ideas maybe?

 To have both of them fail at the same time is a bit odd to me. C4 and C4P are prone to BSM failure. If you are able to get a second hand one for a test, I would try to swap it. Its plug&play but you need to take same one as its already in engine bay, there are markings on it

 A bit strange I must say as in similar time my right back power window started acting up, in parallel my left power window works (but only from back door regulator, driver side bit works but not as intended).

Will try to find some fuse box from scrapyard but not many Citroen ones in the vicinity.

I've also read that big fuses (dont know the name for those, second row in engine bay fuse box) could be the reason, any advice regarding those - contact cleaner or similar?

 You can check them visually and with multimeter. I had a case that carped above them got soaked wet and made an short circuit. They are still working years later so I would rule them out since they are connected to gearbox, etc.
Windows control unit on driver door are very prone to failure, I have now the 3rd new unit
