Hi all newbie here. I've got a c4 picasso 2009 flags up gearbox fault can go a week or couple days and sometimes goes into neutral other times it goes straight off and carry on driving. Fault on scanner is.. clutch actuator position signal fault primary circuit short circuit to ground. Any suggestions what I could do with this or try anyway I have no clue where to start thanks car is the 6 speed semi automatic

Going into neutral can be related to hydraulic pump. Most common issue us electric motor which is creating pressure for clutch. You need proper PSA software like Diagbox or Lexia to correctly read parameters. When changing electric motor, its a good opportunity to also change hydraulic oil in the pump.
