Hi all, new here and desperate. My 2014 Grand Picasso 1.6 Diesel has been wonderful..til now. I noticed my brake pedal sinking a bit low. I've replaced the Brake Vacuum pump, The Brake Master Cylinder and Servo dish. Rear pads and it's been bled with a diagnostic tool and after manually as it wasn't right. Nothing seems to work and we have new fluid. So what happens? If I get in and push the pedal it will be hard, when I start the engine of course the pedal comes to life but doesn't hit the floor if I push down. When I'm going along and press the pedal I have bite and it stops but the pedal does sink quite low and the hardness goes until I get to about 1.5 inches from the floor then it's hard, always stops pretty well. We think we've done everything right and it's now frustrating. So we're looking at the Abs pump because that's all we seem to have left. Does anyone know what's going on and is the ABS pump liable to fail. For a while now I've been getting a dash message concerning the abs system, when it's wet and when I accelerate, STOP ENGINE Problem but they ve been intermittent and not lately, always when it's wet or nearly always. I've checked the abs sensors at all wheels and all seem well. Please help I'm going mad now, where do I go next? Thanks so much.
