I've a Citroen C4 Grand Picoasso 2.0 Diesel automatic 7 seater 2015. The fan belt broke and went under the timing belt and the timing belt jumped..... Garage says thatthey realigned the timing belt and there is no compression, so valves found be bent, cam or cam followers or pistons could be damaged.... I'll probably need at least a new head - I have not looked at the engine yet as the garage is a long way away - (was brought to a garage near where it broke down). I want to decode the VIN number so that I know what engine it has and to price a second hand engine or cylinder head. Any advice welcome for solutions to get out of this one without breaking the bank. The VIN is: VF73AAHXTFJ837438 Can anyone decode the VIN doe me so I know trhe engine type OR direct me to where I can decode the VIN, please? |
