Hi, I have a problem with the windows not opening up and down when i have the ignition on. I have to start the car and then they will work. After i turn off the car the windows will work for about 5 minutes and then they stop working. Is this normal? Thanks Simon |

It sounds normal to me. The timing could be related to the car battery. Do you know if it in good condition or not, how old is it. To be honest I can't remember if I've tried to open mine with just the ignition on but do use the key fob. With my DS4 the windows will open using the door switches for a while after the engine is turned off, but not long. Can you open the windows using the key fob (or close if they are open). Press and hold the unlock button and all windows should open. The reverse for press and hold the lock button. |

It sounds like your C4’s windows are following a power-saving feature, where they only work with the engine on or for a short time after turning it off. This is quite common in some cars. However, if they used to work differently, you might have an issue with the BSI module or a setting that needs reprogramming. | ||
