Hi all, my blowers have recently packed up, so I changed the resistor, nothing, still no blowers, so I changed the motor and had power, put the glove box back in, tried it again and nothing again. I traced the wire back to the plug and it was slightly melted together. I bought a new plug but when I snipped the wires they touched and had a little spark (forgot to disconnect the battery) wired them up to the plug and still nothing. Have I blown a fuse by doing this and if so would any of you know which fuse it would be? Many thanks in advance for any help.

Have you checked the fuse?

It lives on the battery on mine.

The blower on max draws a huge current. I run it thru a 30amp fuse and the wire and connector get hot. It may be the wire isnt fat enuff. I had the same issues as you but Ive hot wired it into the glove box because its not listed in the fuse box diagrams.
