I bought a replacement motor for the adjustment of my driver side wing mirror. It's the same size as the original but the connector has only 3 pins. The original motor has a connector with 8 pins (which I think is a bit much...). I'm not sure how to proceed. Has somebody dealt with this before? Can you shed some light on the matter?
I'd post some pictures if I knew how. sorry.

Never mind, I fixed it.

The stock motor unit of the mirrors has two sliding potmeters built into it, which keep track of the attitude of the mirror. The units offered on AliesExprs don't have this feature, so they are electrically incompatible. However, the plastic parts of the Chinese unit fit the original very well, so I managed to repair the original and everything works great. The original motor is €70,- as a salvaged part, so it's a relief for now.
