Hi I have a 2017 1.6 hdi grand picasso with 12v socket in front, middle and rear. I think the model is a C4 Picasso flair if that's any help? I stupidly plugged my vacuum into the middle socket via an inverter, even though I knew it wouldn't work...just curiosity got the better of me. I figured worst case is that it would pop the fuse on the inverter but it seems to have taken out the whole socket. I need to look into this properly at some point but wondering if anybody has experience working with this particular socket? Are there any wiring diagrams etc? I've had a look at the fuse box diagrams and I think the fuses are okay, I've continuity tested every single accessible fuse in the box behind the glove box and also the bottom row of the hidden fuse box behind. All of the fuses under the bonnet are testing okay. Front socket next to the USB and AUX works and so does the one in the boot. I've also taken the middle plastic trim out unplugged and continuity tested the socket which is fine. I was hoping to trace the cable up to the fuse box but it seems to go underneath the carpets. Thanks in advance for any help guys 🤙 |
