Hello,

the Mrs didnt get her wet cambelt changed and long story short, blew up engine, bought a used one from eBay, got it fitted - now have 'fuel pressure' fault codes - turns out she had an 'orange' engine, and bought a 'yellow' dipstick variant.

With some digging, it appears the fuel pump cams are different, so the ECU throws a fault.

If we get the 'right' ECU + fusebox + ign barrel + keys - is this plug-play or does it then need to be coded to the car - or is this a silly idea and we need the correct cam installing?
