Hi guys, Hoping someone can help me here. So I have a 2010 Citroen C4 1.6VTi and I've had a few problems with it recently but my main issue is a DTC for the knock sensor (P0327). My first step was to replace the sensor which I have done using a local parts store and a decent brand o.e part. I cleared the codes, drove the car, scanned it again, and the fault returned. The second step was checking the wiring for the sensor I had a local auto electrician take a look and they suggested either the sensor I had installed was faulty/incorrectly fitted or I could have an issue in the ECU But the wiring was perfectly fine. The car ran very poorly a couple of days later and had codes for fuel mixture and lambda sensor faults. This gave me the idea that maybe it was the ECU and I was chasing my tail with parts I had already replaced. With this in mind, I sent my ECU off to - Click Here - and after a week came back to me with no faults with my unit. While the ECU was away for peace of mind I replaced the Knock sensor with another unit and made sure to torque to the the correct spec. As of today I reinstalled the ECU cleared the codes drove the car (seems to drive fine) then scanned for code and P0327 was the only pending code. Really struggling to see what more it could be. Any advice would be much appreciated. |
