What type of transmission oil and how much do I need for a 2011 C4 (B7) Diesel 1.6HDi?
Gearbox type BVM6.

Is that the semi auto or pure manual?
I've got the 6 speed manual, and 2.2 doesn't ring a bell.

It should be 1.8l for 1.6 and 2l for 2.0. regarding Oil type, for manual and EGS 6 speed gearbox on 2009 Picasso, it is Total gear 8, 75w80

Thanks that’s helpful. It’s a 1.6HDi, I did start with 1.8l of oil but the gears were sticking, I kept topping up until I got to 2.2l in the transmission and it seems to shift smoothly now. It could just be my inaccurate measuring but I had to keep topping up

Thinking back, I think it was 1.9 from dry, I normally fill it woth 2x 1 litre bottles, and slight overfill

Hi
I used to ask this question to the others community. I receved more response from them, but I didn't satisfied about the result, the type transmission oil. But, one of my friend told me more about best oil for your gearbox.
