Hello,

I got a ESP/ASR fault on the dash and occasionally the engineer fault light. Hooked it up to read the fault codes and it’s come back with a whopping 16 faults!
The car drives fine, it seems unlikely that all of these faults would go wrong at once right? Is there something obvious I could look at that might be causing the issues?

Thanks!

Battery is probably bad.

The battery is less than a year old and it’s reading 14.6V when running which suggests the alternator is fine. I’ve noticed a little bit of rust around the top fuses. Could there be a water issue with the ÉCU/Fuse box that would cause a load of faults? Is that a thing?

Well, they are prone to that, for sure. I had to seal line between windshield and rain scuttle, and also above engine. I had numerous problems, with BSM replacement when water came into ECU box.
