When I start the front wipers only the driver side wiper is working. The passenger side wiper starts from the bottom and goes to the top where it stops. It will go back to the bottom position after I stop lock and unlock the car again.

What is going on? Obviously the motor works since the wiper can move. Its like it thinks the wipers are going to collide and goes into some limp-home mode where only the driver side continue to operate. They are not colliding however..

I would argue there is a problem with the motor, i guess they are stepping motors so they know where they are ? Or maybe still use the small metal stripes so it know where is is and where to stop, if they are like the c4 grand Picasso, they have two motors, one for each wiper. Not much gear or arms visible, only a unit. It can be opened though, but i would not dare to do on mine as i dont know what would fly out in my face
