water in under bonnet fusebox

Hi, I am brand new to this forum, so wonder if anybody has experienced water shorting out the under bonnet fusebox causing many problems ? my car is a 2011 HDI 1.6 exclusive,

Yeah, I had it for some time. I had multiple issues, changing BSM once, once car stopped during drive, which was very dangerous. Anyway, you have to seal that rain scuttle below windshield. You can find one of mine topics, and how I did it

Is there not a drain hole that is clogged?

Hi Martin,
Thank you for your reply, all the square drain holes are clear, but water managed to get into the fuse module somehow !

Use a bucket, pour water on the windshield, and open bonnet. Check where is leaking, I can bet that is leaking between windshield and rain scuttle. I have sealed mine again, we had heavy rain yesterday, no water in engine compartment.

Does anyone know how to replace the rubber strip seal between the windscreen and the plastic rain scuttle. My is also leaking and the rubber strip has pulled away from the glass.

I sealed it with black silicone
