I have checked alignment report. On the back axle there was, or still is, small deviation regarding toe in/out. Which would influence tyre uneven wear, but all 4 are evenly used. I dont know if rear suspension are to blame, while driving over speed holes and bumps, they feel very good, while front springs do make a sound, rear dont. | ||

I had an issue with a C3. My daughter used it as her car. I took it out one day, and when accelerating rasonably briskly it would pull hard right and needed steering to the left to correct. On releasing the accelerator it would then drive normally. This was not torque steer as it hadn't done it at any time in the previous over 120,000 miles. I had it looked at, swapped wheels, nothing found. Eventually sold the car to a well advertised company. I wonder whether it was a gearbox or final drive issue, and there was only drive to one wheel. I could have found out by jacking both sides, putting it in gear and seeing if rotating one wheel caused the other to rotate the other way, roving that the shafts and differential worked. But that would have been academic, as it wouldn't have been worth fixing. | ||

Thank you all for helping me on this issue, much appreciated. My conclusion is, since only a front right wheel has a difference in terms of gap between wheel arch and the tyre. There is no visible tyre wear on the sides, on any tyre. I think that solution is to change front struts, springs, upper mountings. | ||

I usually use Yandex, Google is bad with ex Russian.. But i would say it dont look bad or like anything sticks out, i wonder if you could have an axle that dont pull but then again your diff would go crazy! I just wonder, does it pull to the right by it self or when you move the steering wheel? If you get me, that you want the wheel to be centered and it pulls to right when you move the steering wheel? The top bearing in the strutt will usually make a sound, when worn out. |

It is Serb-Croatian, just to point that out  . Steering wheel goes to the right on its own. When I center the steering wheel, car goes straight, and maybe a bit to the left, but mostly straight. There isn't any noise coming from wheels or front shock absorbers. If there was, then I would definitely know they need to be changed. I cannot pinpoint a reason 100%. I can guess that if tyres are evenly used, then they are correctly touching the surface.

Have you tried to put the front wheels on the rear? It could be tires, a Haynes book Has defective tires Wear in suspension or steering Incorrect wheel allignment Damage to steering or suspension components. |

Yes, I did that 2 weeks ago. The moment I left tyre shop, and drove around 50, same problem. | ||

Have you looked at the upper mountings? The rubber bushing ? The strut are relatively cheap and easy for these cars, it could sounds like that would be a good place to start as you mentioned. |

They are hard to reach, I have to take entire rain scuttle off. Also, remove lids from windshield wiper motors, to access upper mountings. I have sealed that line between the windshield and rain scuttle to prevent rain entering engine bay. Im planning to remove that just once, when the front shocks and everything are to be replaced, then seal that again. Waiting for a bit warmer weather. | ||

I have just looked fast, but think you can get away with just removing the mat, then take out the entire strutt with mount. My French manual dont really mention much to remove. The plastic protections i dont think you need to remove. |

Also when you did wheel aligment checks did they use two wheel (just front) or four wheel aligment? | ||
