I know there are some people here who, like me, saw this as good value. When I first took it out it was barely more expensive than decent breakdown/recover cover.

I've just got my renewal for next January. Warranty with assistance plus (you need the plus if you might want help changing a wheel/tyre etc, lots of exclusions on the basic version) will be £459, a 22% increase. Seems a lot, I know costs have gone up but 22% in one hit, hmmm.

Mine won't be due until May next year and just the extended warranty. I'll have to see what the quote is.

Just renewed mine @ £439.00. Didn't bother with the full monty, as I already have breakdown covered by Brittania, it also covers my motorcyles too!

Yes, it has increased, but they said that is because the car is older, so a greater risk, but I think it must be a lesser risk, because they have replaced so many things over the 7 years, it's like a new car!

Just as an update.
My DS4 is 2016 and I have renewed without assistance for £399 for the year. My MOT failed for a broken spring which was covered by the warranty but would have cost £285.

I'm going to exceed the mileage to be able to renew the extended warranty. It has been an excellent buy.

Looking at buying a new car, but as I have back and neck issues, I cannot get into most cars. A new car on finance will set me back £300 - £350 a month, so have decided to put that money away as a repair fund for this car, as it does everything I need.

The only car I have found that I am able to access is a Citroen Ami!!
