Window runner had a clunk/crunch sound half way up

 Has anyone had issues with window runners?
Mine has started making a clunk/crunch type sound half way up and the windows moves back down automatically.

I need to get the door panel stripped off to have a look, just wondered if there are any common issues people have come across.
The car is a 2011 model, so getting on a bit. Suspect a cable or runner has worn or rusted away.

 Wow, £440 for a new window regulator from citroen since they wont just supply the cable

 Ebay to the rescue and now having a working window again.

But, the auto up has stopped working, and it no longer opens or closes off the key. I had locked it without the control pad for the windows and mirrors. Oddly it doesn't fold the mirrors without the control pad on. So sat that back in when locking and the mirrors folded.

How do you reset the system so that the auto up works and open-close from key fob works?

 Does any know how to enable the windows working from the remote key again? It must be the same as the C4
