Hello,

I have some problems with my C4 Grand Picasso (2015). I have tried to google similar behaviours, with no success.

When opening the car with the remote, the mirrors will not unfold. But the car unlocks and the screen turns on correctly and displays no error.
Then, when inserting the key in the reader and pressing the start button, nothing happens.
If I keep insisting, it will eventually start. I think if the driver door is open, it takes less time than if it is closed.
Once it starts, the mirrors will unfold immediately, it will show a quick battery error, a quick front fog-lights error, then all errors will quickly disappear and everything will work correctly.

This happens always, if the car engine is stopped for more than 1 hour.

The battery is quite new: 10 months old, it is charged and alternator is charging. Start-stop is working fine.

I have tried to reset the BSI unit following a procedure read in this forum... Not worked, although not sure if the reset works correctly or not (is there any way to know this?).

I have tried to punch the fuse boxes and cables. Also insult them didn't seem to make a difference.
I have connected my cheap ODBI code reader, but there is never a single error.

I am a bit desperate with this issue, happy to try any suggestion.

Although I don't think it will make a difference have you changed the fob battery?

I though about it, and checked with the 2 different fobs, getting the same behaviour.

I would disconnect car battery for 10 minutes. Never had success with BSI reset. But disconnecting battery did gave some results.

Thanks for the suggestion. I have disconnected the battery and will try again tomorrow. I am a bit frustrated with this issue
