A while ago the handbrake began needing to be pressed harder than before, the auto locking switched to deactivated (won't change back) and the windows became temperamental. It seems to have happened all at once. Only since then have I seen economy mode activated occasionally. Might my car have a power distribution problem? What part could be at fault, please? |

Possibly as old as the car. Are little electrical failures a usual sign of a battery aging?

It could be, especially since economy mode kicks in so often
