Hi all, newbie member here, but long time Citroen owner - even learnt to drive in my dad's BX16 many years ago!

The paint on my A-post trims (either side of the windscreen) is bubbling so I've got hold of a good second hand set and plan to swap them over.

I thought they would just pull off, but on the replacements I can see a screw thread at one end, so it must be bolted in place?

Before I start ripping bits of trim off the car, is there a trick to getting these off? And putting them back on again?
