Has anyone reset Diesel Fuel Additive with Diagbox/Lexia?

Both Diagbox (7.57 AND 7.82) and Lexia 3 state not possible for cars pre 2009?

Have you replaced the additive pouch & want to reset counter or just researching it as i believe the early cars just had a tank with a float like a fuel tank, these didn't need to be reset just topped up.

I have replaced the pouch and need to reset it but Diagbox 7.57 to 7.82 says not possible on cars pre 2009 so won't let me.

Also tried Lexia 3 with same problem.

Our C4GP is Jan 2008

yes, have reset on older car , will see if i can find instructions I used, remember that i had to reset the counters but cant rember what I did, was on a 2006 peugeot 807 2.0 hdi, which was using peugeot planet(pp)/diagbox
found this, hopefully you might be able to use diagbox, Ive found it better than the lexia option
1. Load and get your Diagbox / PP2000 up and running and interfaced to your car.
2. Select ECU Configuration and Services.
3. Select Global Test and follow prompts.
4. The diags will take up to 5 mins to run.
5. Select Diesel Fuel Additive Control unit.
6. Select Configuration.
7. Select Cleaning or replacement of DPF.
8. Note the number of injections and double click the red text. Follow the prompt and ok.
9. First counter Zero reset completed.
10. Select Replacement of filling of res'
11. READ the INSTRUCTIONS on Screen and press ok.
12. Note the count and double click the red counter and it will be reset after okaying the warning.
13. remove the ignition key and unplug PP from the diag port.
14. Unlock the fuel cap and remove and count to 10 and replace.
15. Plug back in PP and power the ignition but don't start the engine.
16. Select Cleaning or replacement of DPF again and check the counter is still 0.
Good luck !!

Tried, the steps you mentioned almost right (I used diagbox) but I forgot to open fuel flap so reset failed (not sure if that step caused it to fail) I did manage to set additive pouch size.

I'll try again later pending time but I certainly got further than the route I was trying through the Maintanence menu,

I did mange to change puch size from 2.2L to 2.4L which I have confirmed so that bit workied ok.

Still getting additive low warning despite diagbox stating additive reset has been taken into account.

Looks to be sorted, just done two car journies with no warning message.

From repair option in Diagbox after Global test, entered additive pump ECU, I think then replace parts etc and reset, then back to configuration and manualy configure, set pouch size to 2.2L even if already at 2.2L

Initially it didn't work but for some reason since all ok.......

No sometimes will reset and last for a few days then mostly won't reset.

Doesn't seem to cause any ussues thus far

I did read somewhere you have to rest both pump ecu and engine ecu but I haven't tried looking into that yet.
