Hello, I currently have a 2013 C4 Picasso Exclusive. The rubber seal which sits at the top of the tailgate between the roof of the car and the tailgate itself is damaged and I am trying to replace it. However, I am having trouble finding out what this part is called and where I can obtain one.
Anyone happen to know?
Thanks
Dave

Hi, Thanks for that. I did find it afterwards on the diagrams under resources.
It is the seal around the top that I need - 9800022180
Is that the official part number for Citroen parts?

Yes it's the official part number.
It's about £30 at Citroen/Peugeot if I recall.

On the later versions - late 2015 onwards, that top seal wasn't fitted. I don't know if there were any other engineering changes or if it just proved to be unnecessary.

Whatever they did it seemed to cure the issue of splits in the spoiler. In the early days of the B78 I did a survey of our local dealers and found splits in a very large proportion. The results are somewhere on this site. It really doesn't appear to be an issue in 2015 cars on.

Yes, I was wondering about that. "Proved to be unnecessary" might really be "proved to be a liability".

I wonder if they are more relevant in zones where you get a lot of snow gathering on the roof. The first Audi A4 saloon was a case in point, the complex lifting hinges of the boot, designed to make loading easier, meant that any snow simply got dumped in when you opened the lid.
