Wonder if anyone can help me. I have the service light on and the left dipped headlight not working. I gave tried a couple of new bulbs but no luck. Admittedly cheap ones. Checked fuses and none in car for dipped headlights only main beam. Any suggestions or is it a case of original bulbs only

Do you get error that is not working but it is working? Or, you changed bulb, but there is no light?

I suggest you check you are getting 12V at the bulb terminal and the earth. The problem may be the bulb holder.

The service light has come as soon and a message originally came up about dipped head light. Checked and left light was out. New bulbs not worked..tomorrow going to try and swap the working right headlight bulb to rule out bulb issue then maybe need to check voltage as suggested ..car don't seem to have dipped headlight fuses

To update on this. Tried most bulbs nothing worked...eventually got local auto electrician to have a look and he reset BSI as dipped light was not getting any power. Few minutes later all working great.
