 Hi. I recently (and foolishly) snapped off my drivers side wing mirror by hitting a wheelie bin whist reversing - what an idiot !
I bought a replacement(from WingMirrorMan online)and my mechanic fitted it this morning (perfect match for existing part including "paint colour match" at a third of the "genuine" Citroen part price) but he was unable to get both mirrors to synchronise properly in that "one folded in" whist the other "folded out". When he re-fitted the original mirror they worked and synchronised perfectly.
WingMirrorMan have readily agreed for me to return the mirror for "electrical testing"/ replacement / refund.
My question is, in the circumstances I describe, could it be anything other than an "electrical fault" on the replacement unit ?

Highly likely - a wiring error as your replacement is likely to be a re-furbed model.

 Thanks for that. The replacement was brand new and a perfect match for the original as was the paint colour. The only problem was the "synchronisation" with the drivers side mirror otherwise the "adjustment" and indicator were again working perfectly.
