Hi all! First post here, just got my 2014 DS4 after selling my scirocco as I needed a more practical car! So love the car so far, apart from going over bumps..... so much more comfy than the vw to sit it, and fits all the family in! However I did used to have a sub and amp fitted in the old car and had visions of fitting them into the DS4... well, after reading this forum and other places I think I maybe put off! So is there anywhere inside the cabin we can attached the power cable instead of having to get it through the bonnet release grommet? Or if this is the only source of power, where have people attached the cable to the battery as it has a clip, rather than a clamp with 10mm socket that i've used to attach the power before. I've also not seen any post regarding phono cables? I've got the non touch screen version (looks a lot like my old Pug 207 Radio) so no i need to use a inline converter a tap into the speaker wires for the phonos? Alternatively, is it going to be easier to just sell the amp and sub and get some upgraded speakers? |
