I’m trying to fit an external DAB unit to my 2010 C4 Picasso, my problem is that I can’t find or gain access to any metal under the headliner to attach the magnetic earth spade connector.

The instructions state to just pop it under the headliner & it will automatically reach the metal with no need to remove anything, but despite hours of trying I cannot find any metal near the roof or even the pillars & I don’t really want to start pulling the car apart if I can help it.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?

When I fitted my dashcam, I ran the wires from the cigarette lighter between the seats.

Yes there’s plenty of areas to run & conceal cables, the but what I’m really interested in though is finding where to attach the magnetic spade, it needs to be close to the roof as the aerial is at the top of the windscreen.
