Hi - hope someone can offer some advice, or just tell me if I'm doing something completely wrong.

Recently bought a secondhand set of genuine Citroen roof bars for our 2017 Grand Picasso (without roof rails, and with the door frame mounting holes).

The front bar looks like it fits properly, and the pin locates in the hole correctly, but the back one is a nightmare. The bar is wide enough, and the feet of the bar sit correctly on the bodywork, but the bracket that fits around the door doesn't seem to sit at the right angle at all, and the pin just won't fit into place either. I can't see any way to adjust it any further to fit, and the instruction sheet doesn't offer any advice.

I'm worried that the secondhand bars might not be suitable for our model, though they certainly seemed to be and the seller assured us they fit their vehicle, but hoped someone here could shed some light.

Instructions identify them as part no. 1607440480/1607440380 for model number B785/787, and they were bought by the original owner at the end of 2013.
