Hi All I'm a new owner of a 2010 Grand Picasso vtr+ with 115k I have a issue with the central locking not working correctly here's my steps

1) unlock door using key only drivers door opens
2) turn key in ignition all doors unlock
3) clock needs to be set
4) can starts and drives fine
5) turn engine off
6) lock all doors using key fob
7) leave car for a while
8) key fob wont unlock car need to start at step 1
9) if car is only left for a short while the key fob will work to unlock whole car

I'm thinking a new battery ?? but wouldn't it struggle to start if it was dying
