How do I adjust my headlights on my 2011, Citroen C4 mk2? I'm turning it using the required socket.

Hey,

So I've consulted my owners manual and tried online and this forum to find an easy and reliable way to adjust my headlights. I've just got my car back from crash repairs and there's a brand new headlight on the right hand side. It's extremely dipped compared to the left hand side to the point where I will get pulled over if driving at night.

I brought it out to adjust it, opened the bonnet and saw the white hex screw. I began twisting it left (it didn't go right) and the headlights did not adjust. I saw the headlight jerk upwards a little before resetting back. I don't have my laps in the 0 position using the automatic adjuster inside as it tends to go haywire and go up all the way or down all the way when adjusted slightly.

Could anybody please shed some lgiht (no pun intended) into this please? Shouldn't the nhex/screw adjustment work regardless of the headlamps position? Perhaps there's another adjuster behind the headlamp? I'm quite frustrated as the repair service should have adjusted this.

Looking forward to hearing from you all. Thank you.
