I have a 2007 Grand Picasso 1.6HDi. I have to say nothing but trouble with it and now I have a warning sign coming up saying DPF regeneration fluid is empty and was wondering how much this is going to cost me as I have read that it has to be reset after being done. Is it worth me doing it myself or should I give this job to a garage. Any help would be very much appreciated...

You can change it yourself but it will need to be reset using Lexia/Diagbox. It is either a bottle or pouch which is located under the car near the offside rear wheel. There are several types of the Eolys fluid some of which are compatible and some are not, so you will need to use your cars VIN so the supplier gives you the correct one.

If you type Eolys into the search box at the top of the screen you will find loads of info

It is possible to do it yourself but there are some issues. The container may be a bottle or pouch. You should replace the pouch but som have refilled it. The problem is that there are several types of EOLYS fluid. Some are compatible with each other, some are not. So it is vital to get the correct fluid for your car. Buying it from factors can be a problem as there is no guarantee that they will supply the correct one.

It is correct that you need to reset the counter. This can only be done with the correct software, now called diagbox. If you can fin d someone who has a clone they can help you with it. Many garages will not or cannot do it. Citroen are your best bet to get it done correctly, but I'm afraid it is likely to cost.
