 Hello!!!! Happy new year I've got a bit of a strange one for you. It has been -3C today and when I started the car I wasn't able to get it in a gear(manual) but after running the car for 5mins it sort of fixed it self. Any ideas what's happening? Never heard of oil freezing before... Very strange

 Moisture on the gearshift linkage that had frozen?

 If it is the linkage, then some wd40 over it, and paybe some grease to protect it in future.
