 Similar to another thread, I'm looking to find out the OEM brands for the timing belt and kit for the 2.0 HDI engine.

I'll probably go to citroen unless I can find a citroen exact equivalent, so what brands do citroen use?

 Not really helpful as thet list febi for the belt only, or dayco for the kit, along with a load of alternative makes.

Citroen it is then....

 Didn't get a good feeling from citroen for those that ever want to get work done by them.

I phoned and asked about options for timing belt and kits, he read of what was on the screen for the timing belt and one was listed as " coolant pump and timing belt kit". I thought great, and said it was handy they had one that included the waterpump. "No, no, there's no waterpump supplied". I said it's in the name, and got "oh, I better go check that with someone".

Eventually came back with it should be included.

On picking it up, got a different parts guy, and asked to check if the waterpump was in the box since there was doubt over it at ordering. He opened the box, lifted out the waterpump, I commented that it was good they even give a new gasket. He seemed to be in his own little world as he was looking in the box, waterpump in hand, telling me I was right, there's no waterpump included....

I pointed out it was in his hand, and he said "oh is that was that bit is, I'm not very good with car parts"

I left a bit dumbfounded by the whole thing.
