 Good morning all,

I noticed a big wet patch on my drive, after looking under the front of my 2007 C4 VTR+(50k miles)I found the liquid which is pink in colour was coming from this rubber cap. I've searched everywhere and cannot find out what it is. Any help would be much appreciated.

A bit more info would help. Is it a diesel? Is it EGS or manual?

 Sorry, its a manual Petrol 1.6 VTR+.

From the location and the colour, there are really only 4 possibilities. Clutch fluid or brake fluid. I've checked my brake fluid, it is very pale yellow. You can easily check the brake fluid, but I don't know if there is a reservoir for the clutch or where it is if there is one. It could be coolant, you should be able to see the colour of that easily. The only other possibility in that area is gearbox oil; again I have no idea of the colour.

 I think its coolant as it seems to have all disappeared from the header tank. It just seemed to be coming from the cap on the pictures but I'm now wondering if has just run down from somewhere else. Hard to tell because the car hasn't moved for about 4 weeks now. Thanks for your help.
