Hi all, I have a new problem, I am unable to engage 2nd and 6th gear. I have an 11 plate grand picasso 1.6 diesel (manual) Issue has been ongoing where I could engage gear if stick moved slowly but now will not drop in at all. Also when engaging gears across top row (r, 1,3,5) the movement is very much reduced to engage gear. It seems that I just cannot go down far enough to engage 2 or 6. Please any help very much appreciated. Marc |

No problem with 4th though noticeably lower, seems the whole box selection has moved down by 1 to 1.5" | ||||

Hi Rusky, i tried to download but shows an error stating file may be connected to a specific user or group that i may not belong to. is there anything i need to do before the file will open? I am logged in to this site so thought there would be no issue. thank you |

I got it. went premium and all worked. so i have finished the setting, a little bit of trial and error to ensure gears engage and all works fine now. a strange set up as i am pretty sure it is the plastic clip that has slipped on the setting screw thread. might need to replace at some point but for now, at least it is back on the road... Penny drives again!! thank you both so much Rusty and routemaster. a simple fix in the end... when you know how |

Hi all, thought I had it but got worse, I see the problem but looking for help with a part number if possible. The cable running into the gearbox on the fwd/aft movement has frayed and kinked. My guess, not too difficult to replace with a bit of digging but want to make sure I get the right part |
