Hello All, We have a 2009 16L C4 Hatchback that has done 76k miles. Last year we had issues that the local garage put down to the cam chain being worn. We bit the bullet and got them to change it. Since then we've moved to the other end of the country and the C4 has started running roughly and an engine warning light came up. The following came up on the diagnostics - P0341 Camshaft Position Sensor A Bank 1 P0342 Low Input P2178 System Too Rich off idle Bank 1 P0014 Cam Position Exhaust Right/Rear Bank 1 - Timing over advanced/system performance. The garage we took it too this time suggested these pointed to a cam chain issue. They said that they didn't have the equipment to analyse further and suggested we take it to the local Citroen dealer, which could be an expensive thing to do and may cost more than the car is worth We don't want to throw in the towel with our faithful C4 but can't afford to throw good money after bad so wondered if any of you had any insights into what might be going on ? Many thanks in advance C |
