Summary.
So far what I have learnt.
It appears that I have bought a EGS semi Automatic.
I have to look under the battery for the transmission oil filler?
I have also now to find out where the actuator oil drain and fillers are?
It appears that learning how to do it my self will mean it gets done correctly
Would anyone like to elaborate.

Regards Whitworth

The gearbox drain & refill guide is here - Click Here -

Actuator, just leave it! You need diagbox to depressurise & repressurise the system.

Thanks Rusky. Just Knowing what to call the Gearbox a C4MCP Manual piloted gearbox is a big help.
Luckily I did not use the ATF (automatic transmission fluid) that I had bought for it

Is this new thread as the previous reply not here?

my previous reply

you can top up actuator oil or change it completely just buy 1L as per below links, below link for gearbox oil as well

actuator oil is clear or yellow not red like ATF, same for the gearbox it takes 2L manual gearbox oil buy total for gearbox.

Mine had to be flushed due to wrong oil was put in as per above reply.

actuator oil level if it gets low then it gives you trouble - Click Here -

gearbox oil - Click Here -

you can do the oils yourself
and see if there is a c4owners member local to you with diagbox to do the clutch for you.
