Have a problem whereby the cruise and speed limiter works fine except, cruise will not work in 5th.

In all other instances it's fine but in 5th (where of course I'd most like to use it!) it will neither register the speed or cruise.

I've replaced the brake switch as has been suggested for other cruise issues but no change.

My best guess is that the issue is the ECU. Is there any informed guru out there that can offer any advice?
