Hello still looking for my first C4 Grand Picasso and want what’s best for my money. I have searched until my eyes have bled, but wondering the difference between the Exclusive and the Plus. Is it worth the extra money? I don’t like the monochrome odometer I have seen on many C4s. I would like front parking sensors and maybe mirror blind spot warnings. Any help please, I am getting desperate now. Regards

Do bear in mind the specs did change periodically, for example my C4P Excl+ was registered in September 2014 and came with active cruise control as standard but this feature was only available as option by summer 2015. |

I have every Citroen price guide in PDF format going back from this year for many years. Drop me a PM with the month/year that you need, plus your email address and I'll send it through. I also have every PDF brochure for the Picasso back to 2013. I had a 2014 Exclusive+ B78 C4GP - lovely spec. I also had the xenon and park assist options on my car as well, which was very nice. |

Exclusive + brings show-stopping features such as a full-length glass sunroof, massage seats and intelligent laser cruise control, which maintains a set distance from the car in front. That's for the non GP and was written March 2014, but should give you a guide. You can compare the range here - Click Here - |

There were myriad spec changes over time, some obvious like active cruise removed, some less so like laminated side windows deleted. The inbuilt music storage disappeared as did the second usb input. Not much of that matters but if something does matter to you check that its there on the car you buy. Sept 15 registered onwards got 5 years of free satnav updates, before that you paid each time. Engines - I think all the 2.0 diesels were Euro 6, the 1.6s went from e-hdi Euro 5 to Blue Hdi euro 6 during 2015 regardless of trim. I doubt you would notice from the drivers seat but euro 6 will be increasingly important around London ULEZ and possibly beyond. |

So if you bought a used satnav which was was fitted to a 2017 or 2018 car you would be able to get map update free?

Doubt it - log in uses VIN and update is coded to the VIN. Free updates are available from less reputable sources.....never used on e. |

I don’t know too much about these things, but I think there may be all sorts of problems in this upgrade Is the SatNav & Infotainment system all one unit? If it is, will it still work with (or even connect to) the Jukebox and extra USB port and would your car’s firmware recognise it. |

Sorry, I should have made it clearer, if you were to use the VIN from the car which the replacement radio came from.

iscom wrote ... Sorry, I should have made it clearer, if you were to use the VIN from the car which the replacement radio came from. You'd need to do the updates in the car with the same VIN. The VIN in the HU will need to be changed to match the second car, otherwise it won't work properly. And that's assuming everything else the HU needs (wiring links, microphone, bluetooth, USB, aerials, etc.) is present and correct and acceptable to the car's firmware. Retro-fitting/updating is fraught with difficulties. A less problematic route is to fit an aftermarket unit. |

If I fitted an aftermarket I think the steering wheel buttons and switches may not work plus the other connection via the touch screen ( selfparking, lane diversion, and other screen settings ) the replacement unit comes with the new display screen and harness so fingers crossed that everything works
